ABOUT

I am a researcher in Literary and Cultural Studies. My work explores the intersections of psychoanalysis, trauma, caste, and cultural memory.

I am the author of Jacques Lacan: From Clinic to Culture (Orient BlackSwan, 2018) and the co-editor of Dalit Studies: Key Terms and Concepts (Routledge, 2026) and Holocaust vs. Popular Culture: Interrogating Incompatibility and Universalization (Routledge, 2023).

My research has appeared in leading peer-reviewed journals and has been presented at international conferences and workshops hosted by academic institutions in India, Bangladesh, Belgium, Croatia, Germany, Hungary, and the United Kingdom.

My work has received international recognition, including the Seal of Excellence from the European Commission for the Horizon Europe Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Postdoctoral Fellowship. I have also been awarded research and mobility grants by the Lower Saxony Memorials Foundation (Germany), the Open Society University Network (OSUN), and the University College London Global Engagement Fund.

My research contributes to interdisciplinary debates on literary form, cultural identity, memory, and the politics of marginality.
